 | The only book which contains actual GMAT questions is 'The Official Guide for GMAT Review' from ETS. All other books try to simulate the questions on the exams, more or less unsuccessfully depending on the book. We highly recommend that you use the ETS book, because it is the only publication which can accurately prepare you for the types of questions you will really face in the exam. Further questions and tricks for the test are included in the numerous handouts and study materials distributed during our course. Using 'The Official Guide for GMAT Review' and these course materials will provide you with the best possible preparation for the test. Although it is not required during the course, we also highly recommend that you download the free 'PowerPrep Software' to familiarize yourself with the actual interface of the test. You can order the ETS book directly from GMAC and it will be delivered conveniently to your home. Regardless of whether and when you plan to attend the course, you will need those materials to adequately prepare for the exam. Please order ahead of time, since there are occasional shortages, and the delivery time can be up to a couple of weeks. For your convenience we have reviewed other GMAT preparation books which you might consult. Please note that even if you buy all of those books you will still miss many of the important tips & tricks taught in our course. Also, getting feedback from experienced editors on your Analytical Writing Assessment essays is extremely worthwhile in and of itself, and will give you a much better chance at scoring well on that portion of the test. The best combination of test preparation strategies would be to purchase the book from ETS and download the PowerPrep Software, and then take our GMAT prep course once you are already familiar with the exam's format and the type of questions you will be asked. That will allow you to learn and apply the tips we will show you for improving your score quickly and effectively, and help you to utilize whatever remaining study time you have left to its greatest capacity. This combination of authentic questions and valuable feedback and advice is the best thing you can do to give yourself a chance to score extremely well on the GMAT. |
